Dr Akash Sondhi is a Civil and Environmental Engineer by training. Having spent 8+ years in Industry as a process design engineer, he has worked on decentralized wastewater treatment. Akash has contributed to the Mission10X (Wipro Ltd.) Program as a trainer and academic relationship manager. He has been a mentor for Wipro's Earthian program on Sustainability. He brings in a unique experience in new age training and content development, He has managed and governed work integrated learning and higher education programs for Industry. His current research interests are: Wastewater systems optimization with Bio-Energy recovery (for Industrial clusters and Integrated Townships) and water reclamation and reuse; Smart Water/Wastewater utilities for Smarter and Sustainable cities; Water Footprinting for Business Resiliency and Sustainability; Research Augmentation via Action Research and Engineering Faculty Empowerment and Leadership.
