About IPCA Centre for Waste Management and Research

IPCA Centre for Waste Management and Research is established jointly by Indian Pollution Control Association and TERI School of Advanced Studies. We are instrumental in undertaking evidence-based research, developing technology, bringing innovations, conducting capacity building programmes, and developing sustainable supply chain of waste. We publish insights by eliciting inputs through organizing working group sessions, conferences and collaborating with similar national and international institutes. We also enroll research scholars in the Centre for their Ph.D Degree.
Through our activities, we aim to contribute immensely to generating data on waste management which can inform policy interventions and lead to sustainable solutions in tackling waste.
To successfully accomplish project objectives and goals, the centre draws knowledge and experience of large pool of faculty from TERI SAS, researchers from TERI and action researchers from IPCA.

About Course

The course aims to reach out to individuals who are passionate and keen on starting their enterprise in the realm of solid waste management. The course is expected to enhance the understanding of participants on waste management, its associated issues and opportunities. It will help the participants to explore the scope of entrepreneurship in the supply chain of waste management. It is a one-of-its-kind programme where subjective knowledge on waste management will be blended with practical applications.

The course will begin on 25 March 2023 and will involve approximately 64 hours of engagement, spread across 8 weeks. Classes will be held online on weekends (Sat-Sun).

Participants from across the country are invited to join the course. Registrations are now open. The admissions will be provided on first-cum-first-served basis since there are limited seats
