Capacity Building & Training

The Centre has conducted capacity building, certificate courses and webinars through Emerson CSR funding on varied topics. Around 350 participants from various organizations and institutions attended these capacity-enriching sessions. The Centre wishes to empower the community especially professionals and students through targeted training programs designed to address critical environmental and sustainability challenges. We try to integrate capacity building and training into our projects. Some of our trainings are:

Specialized training in UAV/drone applications for natural resource management conducted under the IPSA-Kumbh Mela Projects.
Provide practical learning in circular economy, sustainable packaging, life cycle assessment and product benchmarking to understand the environmental impacts of products under the Green Public Procurement projects.
Capacity-building seminar at the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2025 to guide HEI leadership under our Net-Zero project.
Capacity-building seminar on natural climate solutions which were conducted across 16 states and 2 at the national level under the Nature-based Climate Solutions Project.

NCS National Roundtable

This National Roundtable was a culmination of 16 State-level Roundtables organised through collaboration with the State Forest Departments in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal Odisha, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttarakhand.
