M.B.A. (Sustainability Management) - 1st Semester, Batch 2025-27
Sustainability has become integral to contemporary business and industrial practices, shaping how organisations manage resources, mitigate risks and ensure long-term value creation. Students of the MBA in Sustainability Management (Batch 2025–27) at TERI School of Advanced Studies examined key sustainability dimensions through a business lens and presented a series of research posters reflecting the evolving shift in business thinking. The poster presentation encouraged students to transcend theory, highlight key sustainable challenges faced by businesses and provide solution-centric, scalable business models across major net-zero transition areas, including circular economy and waste management, renewable energy and material recovery, water and wastewater systems, sustainable food and agriculture, urban ecosystems and climate resilience and low-carbon business and policy innovations. The poster presentation enabled the students to understand the shift in systemic thinking aligning with economic principles, policy frameworks and wider applicability. The poster session was attended by faculty members, researchers and students, creating a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange and meaningful academic dialogue. The presenters gained valuable experience through the poster session, deepening their understanding of sustainability in business and recognizing the vital role organizations play in advancing future green transitions. These poster presentations also align closely with the objectives of the Emerson Centre of Excellence for Sustainability Studies, reflecting the Centre’s emphasis on research, industry relevance and impact-focused sustainability thinking.
Below are the posters presented to contribute to the broader sustainability discourse, support collaboration between academia and industry and strengthen practical understanding for addressing complex socio-environmental challenges.
