Abstract: India has registered rapid economic growth since the 1990’s and has shown immense improvement in terms of many social indicators. However, there is still more to be done in terms of India’s well-being. Moreover, India’s economic growth has been coupled with exploitative bio-physical patterns and rising soci-economic disparities. Given these concerns, the study tries to analyse whether India can maintain it well-being over time.
