Abstract: “Sustainability” is discussed in many white papers, reports, documents, and press releases but there are voids in terms of its suitability, aptness, impact, and cause among the stakeholders. It is very much required that sustainability initiatives are very much tailored to need of the stakeholders. It is also essential that the sustainability activities carried out by a company has large impact and the message is well translated to their stakeholders and participants. Sustainability is seen as a mandate rather than a need of hour which reflects for greater good in the business sense. Therefore, it crucial that the message of sustainability initiatives and happenings is loud, clear and focused. To keep that requirement in mind, the present study drafts the sustainability happenings in short & crisp format so that the information is easily translated to its focused stakeholders. This study prepares the content for Sustainability Newsletter targeted to company’s internal & external stakeholders. To showcase the prime impactful initiatives, it is needed that all the people come together to perform tasks that transforms the communities associated to the business. This study also carries out a comparative study on select GRI indicators between Marico and its peer groups from FMCG sector. The identified GRI disclosures would give a scope to expand the company’s reporting matrix to keep itself upbeat with corresponding companies in the sector.
