Abstract: The purpose of this project is basically evaluate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implemented by IRCTC and level of impact it had on Organization success. ERP associate degree integrated package solution offered by Railtel to support the seamless integration of data flows through an organization. It’s basically integration of entire freight, Passengers and administrative business of Irctc Ltd. Provided as a package comprising totally different modules, like finance, accounting, human resources, and offer chain & client information. It plays a major role in Modernization of Indian railway, as it is world’s largest IT project.
Initially this project is designed by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) in the year 2006-07. ERP frameworks are centralized and have the capacity of integrating with other existing frameworks all together to accomplish the best advancement. These frameworks likewise bring prescribed procedures from industry that should be received with suitable change management to modernize work practices. In this way appropriate effective workarounds might be received with sufficient thought to the effects of progress ERP systems ought to be founded on a common database and a modular style.
