Abstract:

Agriculture is the backbone of any nation in the world. Without being selfsufficient in terms of food, one can only hope to survive. In the modern world, agriculture has become more intensive as the need for more supply gives constant pressure to the farmers who turn towards unsustainable methods of farming to increase their yields in the short run. This has disastrous effects ranging from a global phenomenon of climate change to a more personal effect of losing livelihoods. This research paper aims at the farmers in the Madanapalle region of Andhra Pradesh and how these farmers could be better educated towards the sustainable methods of farming.
