Work-life balance is a dynamic, open-ended cycle that affects everyone, either directly or indirectly. The discourse of WLB highlights that the common understanding of a healthy work-life balance is the ability to align aspects of one’s personal life with the professional life , and equal division of time for family and work is an unrealistic goal. Rather, the WLB discourse recognises each individual's uniqueness and dynamism, and supports synchronisation of aspects of a working individual’s life while allowing them ample flexibility.
Achievement and enjoyment are two essential components of a successful work- life balance.
In order to live a dignified and fulfilled life the type of job is critical , but so is the quality of life that the job brings along. It is important to recognise that, every profession has an impact on the person’s own as well as their family's physical and mental health. As a result, every profession, regardless of caste, class, race, gender, religion, or area, has a responsibility to the individual's and family's lives.
