Remote sensing science and satellite image processing technology are gaining popularity over the years. Students/young researchers are keen to gain skill in satellite image processing to employ in their areas of interest and to enhance their job opportunities. The applications of satellite image processing technology are so diverse, spanning from archaeology, agriculture, forest, resource management, and so on.
This workshop concentrates on the basics of satellite image processing, overview of current trends, and its application in diverse areas. This workshop will be useful for students at the undergraduate/postgraduate level, young professionals and researchers, who want to acquire skills in satellite image processing.
This workshop is organised in association with Hexagon Geospatial India (a leading organisation in remote sensing software service, well known for their famous software "ERDAS imagine").
