Instructions for Online Entrance Examination
  1. You are required to report at the assigned center 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination for the photo ID verification. The briefing for the test will start 15 minutes before your scheduled examination.
    You will not be allowed to enter the examination center after the scheduled examination time mentioned above.
  2. A print out of the Admit card must be carried to the test center.
  3. Along with this Admit card please bring a photo identity. Any one of these is acceptable
    • Passport
    • Driving license
    • College/Institute Identity card
    • Credit/Debit Card with photograph
    • Voter ID card
    • PAN card (g) UID card.
  4. If required you can ask for a rough paper from the center administrator. Please note that the rough sheet must be returned to the invigilator.
  5. The duration of this test is 1 hour. There are a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  6. The test has three (03) sections - Analytical Reasoning (40 questions), Proficiency in English (30 questions) and Quantitative Ability (30 questions).
  7. Wrong answers would be given negative marks. Each correct answer will be given 4 marks and for each wrong answer 1 marks will be deducted.
  8. Your neighbor's question paper will be different from yours. Besides the possibility of being disqualified, you also stand the chance of marking wrong answers if you look at what others are answering.
  9. No candidate will be allowed to leave the test centre before 30 minutes after commencement of the exam. If you leave the Test Hall/Room, you will not be allowed to re-enter and it will be assumed that you have completed taking the Test.
  10. Laptops, Calculators, Cell phones, Cameras, Beepers or any similar electronic equipment, Digital Diaries or any pieces of paper are not allowed for use in the Test. Adoption of any kind of unfair means will render the applicant liable for cancellation and forfeiture of his claim for admission.
  11. As intimated  in the information brochure, you need to have aggregate marks as laid down at your bachelor's degree for admission to the M.Sc./MA/M.Tech/MBA/LLM programmes of TERI SAS along with meeting the eligibility criteria. Those of you who are awaiting results have been provisionally allowed to sit in the test. Your qualifying will be subject to your obtaining the minimum marks required. The minimum aggregate marks required for each programme can be seen at TERI SAS web site.
  12. Final selection for all programmes will include an interview, which will follow after the online test. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via Email.
