Dr Kavita completed her LLB from Delhi University and LLM in Human Rights from NLIU Bhopal. She qualified UGC-NET in 2014. Then, she taught for 3 years at Lloyd Law College as Regular Faculty. Apart from teaching, she worked in various committees- Admissions committee, Moot court committee and cultural program committee. Further, she was awarded her PhD in International Environmental law from University School of Law & Legal Studies, GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2022. She has a teaching experience of total 7 years at Delhi University, GGS Indraprastha University, Indian Society of International Law (PG Diploma Students) and Lloyd Law College. She has attended and presented papers at various international and national level seminars, conferences and workshops. She has around 10 publications touching upon different environmental issues such as climate change, sustainability, gender justice etc. She was awarded IPRF (Indraprastha Research Fellowship) based on her rank during her PhD. She has also worked on various Research Projects sponsored by Ministry of Law and Justice and National Human Rights Commission.
