TERI University celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to spread the message of unity, safety and security on Friday, 31 October 2014. 

Honouring the national wishes and complying with the guidance provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the TERI University organized imaginative Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations on campus. 

A pictorial exhibition depicting the life history of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was put on display by the university students. They also presented educative and inspiring speeches both in Hindi and English covering the life history of Sardar Patel. 

Dr. Rajiv Seth, Registar and Dean (admin), TERI University then administered the 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' pledge. The programme concluded with a National anthem followed by the 'run for unity' by students, faculty members and the non-teaching staff of the TERI University.
