The MBA Sustainability Management batch of 2026 at TERI School of Advanced Studies recently showcased how hashtag#DesignThinking can be a powerful driver of hashtag#InnovationForSustainability. Guided by Moumita Acharyya, every team presented prototypes addressing real-world challenges linked to the SDGs ranging from water quality and food management to skilling support, leveraging digital tools to create meaningful impact.
The presentations received invaluable feedback from esteemed panel of judges Abhishek Saxena, Tanmeet Thukral, and Pooja Sharma on viability, scalability, and desirability of the solutions. Their insights sharpened the students’ understanding of how ideas can move from concept, prototyping to real-world transformation.
As Tim Brown reminds us in Change by Design: “Design thinking is about unlocking the creative potential of people and organizations.”
We’re proud to see this potential come alive through the passion and commitment of our students.
