Abstract: The increase of textile production because of the growing demand rate and consumption of fast-fashion has grown at a rapid rate for the past decade now. With the increase of textile production, waste generation has grown in its precipitate. For development to accelerate, a need to manage its consequences also needs to be monitored. One of the highest resource-intensive industries, the textile industry also generates large quantities of pollutants and wastes in air, water and lands. This study aims to explore the alternative sustainable measures in the textile industry and find the most suitable ways of waste managements and resource utilization through conserving the natural resources in the most practical way.
