Abstract:

As my project is concerned, it is related with a mobile containerised solar photovoltaic system which is to be utilized as Decentralised energy sources used for remote rural areas with low electricity for electricity purpose. Electrical data was available for each day, with 24 hours’ time frame. Various electrical parameters are present related with battery system, Photovoltaic system, Grid system and AC load available .During test, it is to found out the working behaviour of hybrid system, weather the battery is working properly, PV system is generating enough energy and grid availability and powering scenario on a daily basis to cater the load connected and then on monthly basis. Three activities are conducted such as tests were conducted to check the working status of battery bank system such as its charging by PV system and discharging characteristics by connected additional loads of 3kW heater. Secondly, as this system has hybrid solar inverter working on different modes of operations, no of minutes on monthly basis of each modes has been calculated to relate which modes of operation is contributing least and maximum in keeping system operational. Last, activity in which how much energy is utilized of all three modes of power to cater the load as different changes according to their availability during the day. Resource utilisation in Maximum and Minimum way to keep the system operational. In this activity dates are found in which PV fed the load the maximum and minimum by Grid and PV and Battery combined maximum and each day power profiles are studied.

Key words:- Hybrid PV Inverter, State of Charge, Resources utilization, Lead acid battery, Electricity.
