Abstract:

This thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) within the Indian Automotive and Real Estate industries. These sectors are of paramount importance to the Indian economy, significantly contributing to the nation's Gross Domestic Program (GDP), employment rates, and technological advancements. The automotive industry, being a cornerstone of manufacturing and innovation, plays a vital role in the production landscape. The real estate industry, crucial for urban development, addresses the housing needs of a growing population and contributes to infrastructure development.

The primary objective of this study is to identify the industry-specific material topics, comparing the BRSR Implementation within Industries peers, and the overall impact of BRSR on corporate sustainability performance.
