Through a detailed case study approach, the research aims to uncover the gaps in current practices and propose actionable strategies that can be implemented across the hospitality industry. The methodology includes comprehensive data collection on energy consumption, carbon footprint analysis, and the examination of renewable energy options and energy-efficient technologies. Additionally, the study assesses the economic impact of sustainability initiatives, emphasizing long-term monitoring to track their effectiveness. This research contributes to the broader goal of promoting sustainable practices within the hospitality industry, driving innovation, and fostering a market for low-carbon solutions. The study further talks about assessing the scope I,II emission trajectory in sectors including Energy, water, Forestry and hence the challenges faced by the resort to become a Net zero resort.
