Abstract:

This study provides original qualitative research to support a strategic ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework within corporate Learning & Development (L&D) programs. Grounded in sustainability competencies and corporate human capital theory, this report evidences the integration of ESG through thematic synthesis of over 75 sources, benchmarking against global sustainability standards, and the formation of a preliminary ESG maturity model for training practic es. It further outlines a proposed ESG Training Assessment Index (ETAI) and presents documentation for future empirical validation via qualitative approaches.
