Abstract:

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of a 300 MW ground-mounted solar power plant being considered for the Sidhi area in Madhya Pradesh. Understanding the several aspects of planning and building a utility-scale solar installation, such as land suitability, solar resource evaluation, system configuration, energy output calculation, and project cost analysis, is the main goal of the research. The study provides the whole implementation of such a project using site-specific data and real-world factors.

The research has been set up to closely resemble real-world project planning procedures. To assess energy output throughout the project's life cycle, develop the plant architecture, and estimate solar potential, technical tools and structured techniques were used. To evaluate the project's overall profitability and capital requirements, a comprehensive financial model was also developed. External vendors provided help at critical phases of the assessment, especially in areas needing specialist technical skills, to guarantee a grounded and realistic approach.

All things considered, this study is a personal academic effort aimed at gaining deeper insight into renewable energy project development. In addition to reflecting theoretical knowledge, it also considers the difficulties and factors involved in converting renewable energy objectives into realistic, site-specific results.
