Dr Amit Kaur hails from Kolkata. She has completed her PhD in the domain of Housing and Community Planning from the Dept of Architecture & Regional Planning, IIT Kharagpur in the year 2019. She holds two masters degree; M.Plan (Housing) from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and M.Sc (Geography) from Presidency College, Kolkata. She has done her Bachelors in Geography from Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata. Prior to joining TERI SAS, she worked as an Associate Professor at Dr D Y Patil School of Architecture, Pune. She has published journal papers, presented and attended conferences both at the national and international levels in the domain of Housing.
