Prof. Suman Kumar Dhar, VC TERI SAS, welcomed Dr. Robert Habeck, the German Vice Chancellor and Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and shared his thoughts and insights on climate, environment, and energy. Dr. Robert Habeck engaged with students from the TERI School of Advanced Studies (Deemed to be University of New Delhi, India) to talk about the advantages and difficulties of the current energy transition in Germany and India. Particular attention was paid to win-win situations by decarbonizing our economies. Decarbonization of economies, globalization and supply chain diversity, and international cooperation were the main subjects of the conversation with the students.
After the exchange with the students, Shri Abhay Bakre, Mission Director, National Green Hydrogen Mission, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Dr Habeck jointly presented the Indo-German Green Hydrogen Roadmap to the audience.
